EGLAS heating glass is a heat emitting system of double/triple glazed or laminated units. They operate by combining two factors: electric current and a low-emission metal oxides layer on one of the glass surfaces. All you have to do is connect the EGLAS active glass to a 230 VAC socket and set the desired temperature.
EGLAS ACTIVE GLASS IS AVAILABLE IN THE FORM OF LAMINATED SINGLE- OR DOUBLE GLAZED UNITSDouble glazed windows with EGLAS active glass can be fully functionally combined with other products and solutions from the wide Saint – Gobain product range, e.g. ECLAZ, PLANITHERM XN II, STADIP, BIOCLEAN or COOL-LITE.

EGLAS heating glass is equipped with temperature-optimizing thermostats, and snow sensors eliminating the risk of the slope collapsing under the weight of excessive snow layer.
The temperature-controlling thermostats are also equipped with an additional sensor fitted directly to the glass surface. You can adjust the glass temperature to avoid condensation (regardless of weather conditions only a small amount of energy is needed to ensure full glass transparency). EGLAS means intelligent home heating, more natural light, and your solution for fogged windows!
